Mood and the Sense of Smell


Your sense of smell is connected directly to the Limbic System of your brain. That's why certain smells invoke very strong memories and emotions. Because of this, scent can affect our mood. When we're feeling low it can lift us. It can also help us feel more motivated.

Uplifting Oils

All the citrus oils are very uplifting. They are great to use in the morning and also in the afternoon when you feel the afternoon slump. Peppermint is also a great oil for the afternoon slump. 
Transformation, Clarity and Motivation are great oils to use when you are working. Cedarwood, Vetiver and Lavender are great oils to use for focus and concentration.
